Gary M. Finnin was the son of Lawrence Joseph Finnin and Margaret Elaine (Allen) Finnin.

Finnin, Gary Age 72. Longtime Crete and South Chicago Heights resident. Born and raised in Flint, MI, graduate of Holy Redeemer High School and Central Michigan University. Proprietor of GMF Janitorial and "Coach Finnin" to the thousands of young athletes he coached and mentored from local youth basketball thru high school basketball, football and baseball. Father of John (Leslie) Finnin, Mary (Mike) Kirk, Michael (Diana) Finnin, Susan (Daryl) Edwards, Chris (Mike) Massey, Shawn (Karen), Matthew and the late Patrick Finnin; grandfather of Valerie, Johnny, Candace, Courtney, Melissa, Melissa, Ryan (Jessica), Brett, Lauren, William, Patrick, David, Kathleen, Brigid, Shawn Jr., and Jack; great-grandfather of Riley; former husband and dearest friend of Donna (nee Martin); son of the late Elaine (nee Allen) and Lawrence Finnin; brother of Roger (Connie) Finnin; beloved friend and colleague of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Wednesday April 3rd from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
