Born December 29, 1918 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Boleslaw and Josephine Plosinski Gnas. Henrietta was a member of St Monica's Parish, and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a former sales clerk for JC Penney.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Podbielski; a son, David E. Podbielski; a grandson, Joshua Podbielski, and a brother, Henry Francis Gnas, Sr.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-laws, Barbara and Douglas Dunlap, Midland, and Christine and Jeffrey Marsico, Moon Twp.; two sons and three daughters-in-law, Thomas and Sue Podbielski, Wellington FL; Henry F. and Barbara Podbielski, New Galilee, and Kay Podbielski, Beaver; nine grandchildren, Terry and Deena Podbielski, Christopher Podbielski, Michael Podbielski, Rebecca and Jason Neville, Greg and Tamara Marsico, Andy and Amy Podbielski, Stephen Podbielski, Caitlin Podbielski, and Logan Podbielski, and six great-grandchildren, Addison Podbielski, Tallen Podbielski, Nathaniel Neville, Kinsley Marsico, Drew Podbielski and David Podbielski.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1117 Fifth Ave., Beaver Falls, www.gabauerluttonfuneralhome.com, where prayers will be offered Tuesday at 9:20 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Monica's - Chippewa, 116 Thorndale Drive, Beaver Falls. Father Kim Schreck will officiate.
Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
