He is best known for his roles in "The Last Boy Scout", "Fast Times At Ridgemont High", "Easy Money", "Young Doctors In Love", "Angels In the Outfield", and nine appearances on "The Dating Game". He grew up in La Cañada, California. Taylor wrote "Gangster Planet," and dozens of comedy essays published in various anthologies. Though Taylor didn't graduate high school, he was one of the first to be asked to teach a comedy course at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).
