Frances Dillinger Thompson, 92, Mooresville, died January 13, 2015, in Meadow Lakes, Mooresville. Frances was born May 11, 1922, in Mooresville, to the late John Wilson and Elizabeth (Fields) Dillinger.

She graduated from Mooresville High School and worked for Van Bokkelen Medical Arts Clinic from 1968-73. She was also employed in medical records at the former Kendrick Memorial Hospital for twelve years, retiring in 1987. Frances was a faithful member of the Mooresville Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Thompson; her sister, Doris M. Hockman, and her brother, Hubert Dillinger.

Survivors include one son, Michael C. Thompson of Mooresville and one daughter, Carol A. Griffith of Mooresville; three grandchildren, Carmen, Travis and Carla along with four great grandchildren.

A funeral service to celebrate Frances’ life will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015 with calling to begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will be at White Lick Cemetery.
