She was born at Fort Stevens in Oregon and was a graduate of the Staten Island Academy. Her husband, Brigadier General Francis Webster Honeycutt died in a plane crash in 1940. She was a member and fund raiser for several charities including the Red Cross, the American Cancer Society and WETA. She died at the age of 97 years on September 29, 1979. She was a resident of Yonder Lee in Warrenton.
Survivors included one daughter, Jane West of Warrenton; one son, Major General John T. Honeycutt of Albuquerque, New Mexico; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A memorial service was held on October 17 at West Point, New York.
