He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II working with naval ordinance building naval planes. He had retired from Mon Power where he had worked as an Electrician and Lineman.
He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Betty Hoey Cunningham, his 2nd wife, Lucille Bowman Cunningham; One son, John Stephen Cunningham and one brother, Oral Cunningham. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:30am at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Dr. Paul Russell officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
