Phillip Earl Tucker, age 90, of Edgerton, passed away on January 14, 2015, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, in King, WI. He was born on June 20, 1924, in Elroy, WI, son of the late Charles and Julia (Babcock) Tucker. He was a member of the Edgerton United Methodist Church. Phil had worked as a tree trimmer and at a hardware store in Edgerton for many years, but liked to be known as the Maytag Repair Man. He enjoyed tinkering, riding his bicycle and scooter around town, listening and singing Irish songs and going to church. He was a member of the American Legion, the Rock River Thresheree Club and a Boy Scout Leader for Troup 466 for many years. He is survived by one nephew; first cousin; and by some very special friends He was preceded in death by one sister, Alice. Burial in Fassett Cemetery. Ehlert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Edgerton.
