Albert C. Colalillo, age 68, of Hayward, WI died peacefully January 16, 2015 at his home with his wife Terry holding his hand.

Albert (also known as Butch, Lucky, Muskie Al, Papa Juice & Red Horse) was born December 8, 1946, the son of Michael (CM of H) and Lina (Nissila) Colalillo. He graduated from Morgan Park High School in Duluth, MN in 1964; he then went on to the University of Minnesota-Duluth, graduating with a degree in Sociology/Psychology. He worked his way through college as a bartender and security guard. Albert was drafted into the US Army in 1967 and served two tours in Viet Nam. He served in the Military Police patrolling and escorting convoys between the areas of Chu Lai and Quang Ngai, during which he was exposed to Agent Orange. Albert was joined in marriage to Terry Koski on October 4, 1975. He worked for Travelers Insurance, Ozark Airlines in Chicago, IL, Duluth Readi-Mix, ASDCO Building Supplies and Chematel-Oakite, retiring in 2005.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially Muskie "hunting", having released a 52" Muskie while fishing in Minnesota. He also created Papa Juice Fish Stimulant. Al was a youth hockey coach in Duluth, MN. The past two years, he loved driving his six speed shift, 2000 Corvette, with "The Doors" playing on a CD.

Al is survived by his wife Terry; one son Michael A. (Amanda) Colalillo of Hayward who were just married January 3, 2015; one grandson Michael A. Colalillo, Jr. of Minong, WI; a sister, Michele (Rodger) Schneerberger of Meadowlands, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joanne Colalillo.

A memorial service for Al will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 24th at Grace Lutheran Church, Hayward, WI. A luncheon and social gathering will follow.

A very special heartfelt "thank you" to Dr. Lalich and the staff of Essentia Health; to the wonderful and caring people at Hayward Hospital Oncology/Out-Patient Department; Sawyer County Veterans Service officer and drivers; Northern Lights and Regional Hospice of Hayward.

Al leaves a hole in our hearts and we'll sadly miss his contagious laugh.
