Daisy was the daughter of William E. and Viola (Brady) Phillips. She married Gene Christopher Kivett in 1934 and they were the parents of three sons: David Paul, Philip Gene and Joseph Wayne.

RAMSEUR _ Mrs. Daisy Phillips Kivett, 82, of Rowan Manor Nursing Center, Salisbury, died Sunday.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Loflin Funeral Home in Ramseur.
She was a native of Chatham County and a homemaker.
Surviving are sons, Phillips G. Kivett of Fresno, Calif. and Joseph W. Kivett of Salisbury; sisters, Mrs. Lillie Hribal of Plant City, Fla., Mrs. Madge Garner of High Falls and Mrs. Ruth Lange of Lexington; brothers, Paul and Theadore Phillips of Bennett, Roy Phillips of High Point, Isaac Phillips of Lexington and Joseph Phillips of Dawson, Ga.; eight grandchildren.

RAMSEUR -Funeral for Mrs. Daisy Phillips Kivett, 82, of Rowan Manor Nursing Center, Salisbury, who died Sunday, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel in Ramseur. Burial will be in Prosperity Friends Meeting Cemetery near High Falls.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
