Conductor. He was prominent musical figure known for his work for television, films and orchestration. A graduate of composition from Pepperdine University, he received his Master of Arts in Symphonic Conducting at the University of California, Los Angeles. He conducted orchestras such as The Los Angeles Philharmonic, Munich Philharmonic, Dusseldorf Symphony, Dallas Symphony, Houston Symphony, Symphony of the New World Orchestra and Capistrano Symphony Orchestra. For motion pictures, he scored the music for “Lifeguard” (1976) and "Man on the Moon" (1999). His many television credits included the “CBS Television Variety Show”, "The Magic of David Copperfield", “ABC Afterschool Specials”, “The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius” and 33 episodes of the “Mike Douglas Show” series. In 2001, he received a Grammy Award for Best Children's Musical Album, "Elmo and The Orchestra".
