Jesse Earnest Hensarling, Jr., age 86, of Allen, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2015. Jesse was born February 20, 1928, in Bryan, Texas, to Jesse Earnest and Erma Jane (Cloud) Hensarling. He married Elizabeth Jane Bradshaw on June 6, 1952, in Dallas, Texas. Jesse was raised in Bryan, where he graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1944. Jesse later graduated from North Texas State College in 1948 and went on to receive his Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1955. He loved and served his Lord Jesus as a Minister and Bible Teacher for sixty years. Jesse loved his family very much. He also loved music, especially singing. He was a longtime member of Plano Bible Chapel in Plano, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Hensarling of Allen, Texas; daughters, Grace Hensarling of Bogota, Colombia, Susan Miller and husband, Duane of Chesterland, Ohio, Judy St. Clair and husband, Mel of Mulberry, Texas, Anne Hensarling of Allen, Texas; sons, Jesse Hensarling, III and wife, Penny, also of Allen, and David Hensarling and wife, Rhonda of Olathe, Kansas; eighteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Jessie Myrtle Cole and Olive Ruth Nabors.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 30, 2015, at Plano Bible Chapel in Plano, Texas. A graveside service will take place at 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Bryan City Cemetery in Bryan, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
