HINES Sgt. Tyrone A., of Dracut, formerly of Dorchester, after a courageous battle with cancer, passed away on September 4, 2012 at the age of 24. Born in Boston, Tyrone graduated from Boston Public Schools. Tyrone was an active duty member of the United States ARMY with the 182nd Infantry Division based out of Melrose, with whom he was deployed to Afghanistan. During his service time, Tyrone was awarded several commendations, including the National Defense Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon. More recently he has worked as a mechanic for the Department of Defense. In his free time, Tyrone enjoyed music and working on computers. Tyrone simply loved life and always had a smile on his face. Tyrone is survived by his parents, his paternal grandmother, and five siblings, a niece, his godmother, and two nephews, a devoted friend and business partner of. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 North Main Street (Rt. 28), RANDOLPH. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited a visitation period on Monday from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the , 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
