STORMY BETH ADAMS
Stormy was a rescue dog, just like her sister Whisper. I got the girls when I volunteered to help Noni, a sweet lady that ran Animal Friends. I helped out by cleaning the dog pens and every time I got in the pen with Stormy, she would always come and set between my feet. I asked Noni about taking Stormy home with me, and she asked me to consider taking Stormy's sister Whisper -- I took both of them home with me. They were great little girls. I am glad I took both of them because they were such a blessing. I got the girls in September 2002. Whisper passed away in 2010.

Little Stormy had to be treated for the Red Mange. She lost part of her tongue from a rattlesnake bite. She was loved by my brother David who helped me take her to the vet. He would bring her treats. She was a good watch dog and a friend to everyone she met. Even people who didn't like dogs liked Stormy. If she could speak I know she'd thank her vet Dr. Garry Dorsey and our neighbors Stevie for making her last moments as easy as possible and Carl for giving her a beautiful gravesite.

As she got older she became a house dog and learned to tolerate the household cats. Her favorite thing was to ride in the car -- especially to Bell's where she always got her very own hamburger patty. She was happy to get a doggie bag from the El Rancho Mexican Grill. She also liked when her Auntie June came to visit because she'd get dog coats, sweaters, collars, new beds and catfish, chicken fingers and chicken gizzards -- and sometimes ice cream.

She will be remembered with loving fondness.
