MUNCIE - Vicki J. Bolton, 66, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

She was born November 11, 1948 in Winchester, the daughter of Joseph M. and Mary M. (Himes) Mincer.

Vicki graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1966 and from Ball State University.

She worked for Borg-Warner and become a homemaker after her children were born. Later she worked for Avondale Credit Union.

Vicki was a former member of Fountain Square United Methodist Church and the Friendly Steppers Square Dance Club. She attended all of her son's and granddaughters sporting events and loved shopping with her granddaughters.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Mincer of Muncie; one son, Doug Bolton (wife, Melissa) of Farmland; three granddaughters, twins Hannah and Brooke Bolton and Sophia Bolton; two sisters, Connie Hurt (husband, Larry) of Tennessee and Kellie Rosenfeld (husband, Dr. Gary) of New York; two brothers-in-law, Terry Smith (wife, Kathy) of Brownsburg and Gary Bolton (wife, Valerie) of Waterloo; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wayne Bolton on November 6, 1993; her father, Joseph Mincer; one son in infancy, Todd Allen Bolton; and one sister, Melodi Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel with Pastor Steve Graves officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2015 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel or one hour prior to services on Saturday.
