Leo was a cement contractor in Milwaukee, WI for many years, and in this area since 1971. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He served with the United States Army.
Leo married Jeanne Craven in 1983 at Gillett, WI and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Keshena.
Survivors include his wife Jeanne;
two daughters: Lynette {Robert Valentine} & (now Paul) Beavin and Yvette (Robert) Peguero, both of Green Bay, WI;
two sons: Curtis James Long of Devils Lake, ND [2/16/1957-11/11/2017] and Russell (Tara) Long of Green Bay, WI;
nine grandchildren: Christopher, Adriana, Robert, Richard, Gerardo, Leanna, Chelsie, Clint, Connie;
great-granddaughter Maria;
a brother: LeRoy (Rosie) Long of Keshena, WI;
two sisters: Frances (Charles) Gordon and Rosie (Willard) Klein, both of Shawano, WI;
nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Lori Ann Long; two grandchildren and a brother Donald.
Funeral services will be held on January 21st at 10 am at St. Michael's Catholic Church of Keshena with the Rev. David Kiefer officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery of Keshena. Friends may call at the Swedberg Funeral Home of Shawano today from 4 to 8 pm and Wednesday from 8:30 am until the procession leaves for the church.
