Charles Abbott, 89, of N. 18th Ave. died on arrival at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Abbott was born near Central City, NE. He farmed in Colorado before his retirement 22 years ago when he and his first wife Idella moved to Yakima. She died in 1951. He married Gay Helen Abbott in 1955. She survives him. He is also survived by 2 daughters, Cora Mae Haan of Yakima & Ethyll Feather of El Cerrito, CA, a son Chester of Yakima, 7 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchilren. Another son Artie died about 2 years ago.
