Comedian, Actor, Writer. Born Karl Gösta Bernhard Nilsson, later Byhmar. Made his name through numerous revues and comedy acts, on stage, radio and TV. He was behind the renowned Crazy-revues at the Casino Theater in Stockholm along with Stig Bergendorff, and came to work with such comedians as Carl-Gustaf Lindstedt, Gus Dahlström, Gunnar "Knas" Lindkvist and Gösta Krantz. As an actror he made his debute in 1946 with "Hotell Kåkbrinken". He participated in several films, among them "Alla tiders 91:an Karlsson" (1953), "Yngsjömordet" (1966) "Skärgårdsflirt" (1972) to mention a few. One of his last roles was in "August Strindberg ett liv" (1985) produced for the Swedish television. He also translated and adapted musicals, among them "Annie get your gun" and "South Pacific", and wrote many lyrics as well. In 1962 he received the Fred Winter scollarship and in 1973 he was the SKAP-scollar.
