A COUNTRY WEDDING
CRAWFORD - HAYDEN
A very pretty wedding was celebrated in the early part of this month at the residence of the bride's parents, "Olive Green Farm", Deborah, the contracting parties being Mr Girvan Crawford, Maryborough, and Miss Ellen Hayden. The drawing-room was nicely decorated for the occasion, a neatly designed wedding bell being arranged so as to shower rose leaves o'er the bride. The bride entered the room on the arm of her father, and was attended by Miss M. Hayden and Miss F. Crawford, the bridegroom being supported by Messrs D. G. Crawford and J. Hayden. The Rev. J. G. Martin officiated. After the ceremony the bride and bridegroom led the way to an adjoining room, where a bounteous breakfast was prepared.
Mr and Mrs Crawford left by train for Pialba where the honeymoon was spent.
