Born February 26, 1923, in Rochester, PA, he was the son of Prudence (Yellock) Allen. He retired from Beaver Valley Alloy in Monaca as a laborer.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gertrude Lewis Thomas; a stepson, Willis E. 'Skip' Rawl of McKeesport; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Brenda Harriel of Beaver Falls, and Janice and Harrison Bacon of Beaver Falls; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Carlysle Thomas; his brothers, Harold, William, Robert and Donald Thomas, and his sisters, Louise Altman and Betty Jane Thomas.
Friends will be received Friday, February 13th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1117 Fifth Ave., Beaver Falls, www.gabauerlutton funeralhome.com, where services will be held on Saturday, February 14th at 1 p.m. with Reverend Chambers officiating.
Gertrude would like to especially thank her good friends who were a tremendous help during this difficult time, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Byrnes, Mike Jones and Harold Cleckley.
Interment will be private at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
