He was born November 14, 1913, in Greene County, a son of Austin and Ola Headley Hull.
Mr. Hull had lived in the Claysville community for the past 17 years. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Claysville. Mr. Hull was employed by Columbia Gas Co. for 41 years and he was foreman of the Donegal Compressor Station for 10 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club.
On August 20, 1940, he married Lena G. Murray, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Phillip Hull of Marlin, Texas, and Danny Hull of Prosperity; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Pat) Wass of Claysville and Mrs. Charles (Vickie) Lentz of Newburgh, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother, John Hull of Rogersville; and one sister, Mrs. Nell Pettit of Washington.
Two brothers and three sisters are deceased.
