Glenn E. Allum, 85, of 103 Rimek Road, Lisbon, Conn., formerly of Washington, died at 4 p.m. Monday, June 11, 1984, in the Hamilton Pavilion in Norwich, Conn. He had been ill since December 1983.

He was born September 22, 1898, in Enon, a son of Everly and Mary Ellen Allum.

Mr. Allum was a self-employed carpenter and he was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

On January 1, 1925, he married Anna Belle Guthrie, who died November 30, 1967.

Surviving are two sons, Arthur E. Allum of Blacksburg, S.C., and George R. Allum of Lisbon, Conn., with whom he made his home; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Helen) Shearer of Titusville, Fla., eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
