In Memory of ...... Shirley May Nordahl.

You may be gone, no longer living on this earth; but you will live on - in the memories of your family and friends. There will always be a part of you living in me, your brother, sisters and those who knew you and loved you. You will live on because we remember you!

Shirley May Nordahl was born on March 4, 1914, the daughter of Lemuel and Mary (Lillie) Rowton at Mosby, MT.

She grew up and attended school at Winnett.

Shirley met and married Edward Nordahl on June 28, 1933 in Lewistown, MT.

To this union four children were born: Betty, Lee, Sharon and Lynn.

The family moved to Choteau where they remained for many years. Along with raising the children, Shirley worked at the Hospital in Choteau for 25 years.

She always enjoyed a good card game and going to dances with Eddie.

Education was very important to Ed and Shirley and they were very proud that each of their children received a college education.

In 1989, Shirley moved to Baker to be closer to her daughter, Sharon. In 2002 she moved into the Fallon Medical Complex Nursing Home where she made her home since.

Shirley and her family were so thankful for the
wonderful care and compassion she received while
staying there. They are so grateful to the entire staff of caregivers.

Shirley loved her children, yet her daughter-in-law, Maureen and her grandchildren held a very special spot in her heart.

Shirley passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at the Fallon Medical Complex in Baker at the age of 92 years old.
