Orville E. Krueger, age 89, a Two Rivers resident, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 12, 2015 at Northland Lodge in Two Rivers.

Orville was born July 17, 1925 in Green Bay, son of the late Joseph A. and Elsie (Nimmer) Krueger. He graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of 1942. He then attended the

Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps, 2nd Division, 6th Regiment. On June 22, 1947 he married the former Althea Nau at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Luxemburg. After serving in the military, he worked as an auto mechanic and at a nuclear plant as a maintenance technician. He was also a licensed aircraft mechanic and inspector. Orville loved camping, traveling, photography, but most of all he loved flying. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Manitowoc.

Survivors include his wife: Althea Krueger, Two Rivers; two sons and daughters-in-law: Lon and Maryanne Krueger, Scottdsdale, AZ; Jeffrey and Sue Krueger, Livonia, MI; four daughters: Jansie and Gary McMahan, South Bend, IN; Holly and Pat Server, Green Bay; Lisa and Doug Zahorik, Kaukauna; Myrna and Tom Krajnik, Mishicot; 12 grandchildren: Elly (Ryan) Moore, Molly McMahan, Heidi (Patrick) Marek, Max Krueger, Erik Koch, Abby Server, Tyler Server, Randy (Andrea) Zahorik, Jenna (Nathan) Ihssen, Sam Krajnik, Kenny Krajnik, Elizabeth Krajnik; three great grandchildren: Landon, Luke and Esmay; three brothers-in-law: Gerald Quistorff, Arlo (Lynn) Nau and Virgil (Ardis) Nau.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Quistorff and one brother-in-law, Harold Nau.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Zachary DeArmond. Following the service, Military Honors will be accorded by the VFW Otto Oas Post #659. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Redeemer Lutheran Church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
