David James Lemon, 48, of Munster, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 1996. He is survived by his loving wife, Gail; one daughter Jennifer and one son, James; his mother, Wanda Lemon of East Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his father, James.

Visitation will be Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave., Munster, Indiana. Funeral services Wednesday, May 8, 1996, 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with 11 a.m. Mass at St. Thomas More Church, Munster, Father Joseph Angotti officiating.

Interment, St. John Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana.

David was an Assistant Principal at Hanover Central for 13 years; member of Ceasar Battiste Lodge; Union member of the American Federation of Teachers; former teacher, football and wrestling coach for the East Chicago Public schools; member of the National Association of Secondary School Principals and
a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Thomas More.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Kidney Cancer Foundation. Suite 203, 1234 Sherman Ave., Evanston, IL. 60202-1375 or the Respite Care of Northwest Indiana.
