She was a daughter of Perry D. and Nellie Barger Phillips and was born January 18, 1902, in New Freeport, where she resided during her early life. She later made her home in Clarksville for 30 years and had resided in Waynesburg since 1962.
She was the widow of Ralph Blue, who died January 8, 1961. She was a member of the United Missionary Church at Pitt Gas.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John (Donna) Liddick of Harrisburg and Sheila Blue of York; two sons, David Blue of Waynesburg and James Blue of Washington; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Floyd Phillips of Waynesburg, Murl Phillips of Orlando, Fla.; and Charles Phillips of Rockingham, N.C.; and two sisters, Mary Eagan of Hadley and Carol Phillips of Rogersville.
