Doris was born Oct. 10, 1925, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the daughter of Herbert and Dorothy Arensberg Staub. She married Richard Cornwell on Jan. 10, 1946, in Cedar Rapids. Doris was a homemaker. She was a member of First Assembly of God and a beloved volunteer at the Isaac Newton Christian Academy.
Survivors include her husband, Richard; three daughters, Mary Wiyrick of Unionville, Mo., Joanne Gosselin of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Lois Vent of Waterloo; a son, Kenneth of Cedar Rapids; and a brother, Norman Staub of Solon.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
