WILBUR RUSK, RETIRED CAR DEALER, DIES
Wilbur M Rusk, 69, of 1111 Elmwood Road, retired automobile dealer, died at 4:40 AM Saturday at Brokaw Hospital.
Funeral services will be a 2 PM Monday at the Metzler Memorial Home, with the Rev James Caraher officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the memorial home after 3 PM today.
RETIRED IN 1951
Mr. Rusk operated the Dodge and Plymouth Sales and Service, 220 S Main, from 1940 until 1948. In 1948 he moved his agency to 303 S Main. He retired in December, 1951.
He was born May 24, 1895, in Belle Plaine, Iowa, a son of Leonidas and Sarah McGill Rusk. He married Edyth Carter October 16, 1934, in Chicago.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Nanette Groves, 104 Eisenhower Drive; Miss Corinne Rusk, a student at Stephens College, Columbia, MO; one grandson.
IN WORLD WAR I
He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church.
During World War I he served in France with the 312th Field Artillery of the 79th Division, one of the first motorized artillery units.
He was a member of the Bloomington Club and the Bloomington Country Club.
