Deb, 66, passed away at her home. She was born to R. Paul and M. Crystal Brown. After graduating from Fort Lupton High School in 1966, she attended CU Boulder. She was currently working as receptionist at Aristocrat Ranchette Water. She had previously worked for Fort Lupton State Bank as an executive secretary and had also owned Green Meadow Sod. Deb loved spending time with niece Breanna Brown, and teaching her everything she knew about animals. She also enjoyed bowling, horseback riding, bar tending and selling antiques. Deb has been involved in many endeavors like raising and racing Greyhounds, showing and racing quarter horses, raising and breeding cattle, raising and breeding Australian Cattle dogs. She was a member of the ladies Auxiliary of VFW. Survivors included: brothers, David Brown and his wife Jeanette of Frederick, their sons, Jason and Scott and daughter, Shannon and six grand-nieces and nephews; Brad Brown, and his wife, Trudy of Fort Lupton, their sons Tyler, Nick, and Kyle and daughter Breanna. Preceding were husband Joe King, her parents, and niece Mandy Brown. Memorial Services held February 21 at Crossroads Church, 1115 1st Street in Ft. Lupton. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled arrangements.
