Janet Louise Lorenz, 72, of Enid, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 in Enid. She was born July 6, 1942 in Okeene, Oklahoma to Howard Lorenz and Erma (Vogt) Lorenz.
She was a graduate of Kremlin High School. Janet was the Salutatorian in her graduating class. She loved children and worked many years in the nursery at Emmanuel Baptist Church as well as Daybridge, Happy Time Day Care and Kids Are Great. She also loved cats, especially her cat Max.
She is survived by two brothers; four nieces and one nephew; four great-nephews and one great-niece. She was preceded in death by her parents and numerous aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life and remembrance is 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 20, 2015 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Ted Kuschel will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
