Ben H. Coleman, 75, died Nov. 24, 1994, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
A native of Indiana, he was born July 31, 1919, to Harvey and Mollie Westwood Coleman, and had lived in Sparks for the past 50 years.
Coleman was the owner and operator of Ben's Coin Machine Service for 45 years. He was a member of Reno B.P.O. Elks Lodge, founder of Sparks Silver Club and a World War II Navy veteran.
His wife, Ellen, died Sept. 18, 1986.
Surviving are his daughter, Sybil Coleman of Reno; stepdaughter, Judy Ward of Las Vegas; stepson, Richard of Reno; and one granddaughter.
A memorial gathering is scheduled for 2pm. Wednesday at Mountain View Cemetery.
Burial will be at the cemetery, under the direction of...

Word has been received of the death of former Fulton County resident, Benjamin
COLEMAN, 75. He died Thursday, Nov. 24, in Sparks, Nevada. The services in Nevada were Wednesday.
He was born in Fulton County to Harvey and Mollie WESTWOOD COLEMAN. On
Dec. 24, 1937, in Rochesrter, he married Ellen ELLIS, who died Oct. 1, 1986.
He was a veteran of World War II. He owned a business in Nevada.
Surviving are a daughter, Sybil COLEMAN; two adopted children, Richard and Judy
[COLEMAN]; a granddaughter, Gena Marie; a brother, William COLEMAN of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Howard COLEMAN.
