Born April 22, 1882 in St. Leo, W. Va. she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Lucinda Hunt Delaney and was the widow of the late Ora Rush, who died April 9, 1969.
Mrs. Rush had lived almost her entire life in the Carmichaels area and had been affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
Surviving are four sons: Samuel Rush, of Washington, Thomas Rush of Waynesburg R.D. 2, Joseph Rush of Waynesburg R.D. 3, and Raymond Rush, of Carmichaels R.D. 1; a daughter Mrs. Russell (Viola) Gay of Waynesburg; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Jenny Shough, of Ypsilanti, Mich.; a brother, Lawrence Delaney of Hawthorne, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.
Four brothers and five sisters are deceased.
