Carl H. Richmond was an attorney with the Fruit Growers Express Co. and was an authority on interstate commerce law and employer-employee relations in the railroad Industry. Before taking his legal degree from Georgetown University Law School, he was a newspaperman with the Newark, N.J. Evening News, the Savannah Morning News, and the Washington bureaus of the Kansas City Star and the Portland Oregonian.
