She was born December 31, 1896, in Whiteley Township, the daughter of the late John And Mary Zimmerman Higgins.
Mrs. Rockwell had spent all of her life in the Waynesburg area and she was affiliated with the Fairall United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her widower, Walter C. Rockwell, whom she married January 15, 1915.
Also surviving are one son, Edmund F. Rockwell of Waynesburg; two brothers, Frank Higgins of Waynesburg R.D. 3, and Harvey Higgins of Waynesburg R.D. 3.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
One sister, Mae Higgins Webster, and two brothers, Walker and John Higgins, are deceased.
