Mrs. Smith was born March 16, 1925 in Meyers Crossing, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Marshall and Reba (McGinnis) Pysher.
She passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in a Waco hospital.
Mrs. Smith lived in Lindale for several years before moving to Waco in 2004. She was a member of the Lutheran faith.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Smith.
Preceded in death by, Sons, Lt. John Harvey Carson, who was killed in the Vietnam War, Eugene Marshall Carson; daughter, Julie Ann Carson and a sister, Jean Divine.
She is survived by her brothers, Ray Pysher of Mesa, Arizona, John Pysher of East Bangor, Pennsylvania, Gerald Pysher of Bangor, Pennsylvania and a sister, Susan Pysher of Wilmington, North Carolina and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Elizabeth Smith age 87 of Waco and formerly of Lindale are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in the Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home of Lindale.
