Actor. He was typecast playing juvenile delinquents during the first half of his career and later made a name for himself in several Disney pictures. Born in New England, to a Canadian mother and an Armenian father, Richard served with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He broke into the movie industry with a minor part in the Italian picture "Attila" (1954) and later moved to Hollywood to co-star in the Robert Altman picture "The Delinquents" (1957). This was followed by "The Delicate Delinquent" (1957), "Dino" (1957) and "The Brothers Rico" (1957). Further films include "None but the Brave" (1965), "Von Ryan's Express" (1965), "The St. Valentine's Day Massacre" (1967), "Never a Dull Moment" (1968), "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes" (1969) and "Chinatown" (1974). His TV credits include "Batman", "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color" and "Cannon", among many others.
