Irene Henson Baker age 88, passed away Wednesday 22 October 2008 in Indianapolis, She was born 31 July 1920 in Lincoln, the daughter of Harry and Mae Henson. Her husband of 66 years, Warren E. Baker and two brothers, Floyd H. Henson and Paul H. Henson preceded her in death. Survivors include her son, Bruce H. Baker, brother Clyde Henson (wife Anita) of Arkansas, sister-in-laws Lucille Hensen of California and Betty Henson of Kansas. and several nieces and nephews. Irene graduated from the University of NEbraska she was a teacher in the Lincoln Public schools at lincoln, NE before moving to Indianapolis. She was a real estate broker for several years. Irene was a life member of the American Auxiliary Unit #3, Lincoln NE and had over 60 years of continuous membership. She has membership in 8/40 in Lincoln Nebraska and the Lincoln Alumni Association.
