Maxwell.
On Saturday morning, Aug. 22, Mabel Belle, only child of Squire and Rebecca McConnell, died at the home of the parents, three miles north-east of town, after an illness of several weeks, aged eight years. The funeral was held at the residence on Sabbath afternoon and was conducted by Rev. R. A. Ferguson. The music was furnished by the C. P. choir of Maxwell. The family have the sympathy of the community in theis sore bereavement.
