MBS. ANNA MARIE STABILE
. Mrs. Anna Marie Stabile, widow of the late Rosario Stabile, for 60 years a resident of the Hill District, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Domenic De Philip, 20 East Prospect Street, Ingram.
. Mrs. Stabile was 84 years old. She was born in Italy and came to Pittsburgh as a young girl. Besides Mrs. De Philip, other children are Nicholas, statistician with Allegheny county, Michael, John, Leonard W. and Pascale. Mrs. Stabile leaves 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning in St. Peter’s Church in Fernando street where Mrs. Stabile attended for more than half a century.

. If Rosario Stabile, an immigrant blacksmith, were slill alive, he'd be quite proud of his boys,
. Rosario and his bride, Anna Marie, left Italy in 1882. He worked hard at his trade, always hoping that the next day would bring better things.
. Anna Marie reared her children in a modest house on Bedford Avenue in Pittsburgh's Lower Hill.
. A daily prayer in the humble household was:
"... and please show us the way to success.”
