Joan Hilde Barton, 96, of Falls Church, Virginia passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Capital Caring Halquist Inpatient Center. Mrs. Barton has lived in this area for over fifty years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hank Barton and her nephew, Roger Peters. Survivors include her nieces, Barbara Peters, Judy Miller and Suzette Weise, their spouses and children, and long time friends who loved and cared for her. A gathering will take place on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 6 to
9 p.m. at Everly Community Funeral Care, 6161 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, Virginia 22044. A memorial service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
