Mary A. Augustine, age 93, a Manitowoc resident, died on Tuesday evening, March 10, 2015 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Mary was born on April 14, 1921 in Francis Creek, daughter of the late Bernard and Helen (Stangel) Weina. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School and later the Accredited School of Cosmetology. Mary worked as a self-employed beautician. She married Ralph Augustine and he preceded her in death. Mary was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary 707 and the Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include two daughter, one son-in-law: Patricia A. Schmidt, Milwaukee, Marjorie and Jerome Hermann, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren: Todd Schmidt, Diana (Douglas) Aungst , Janet (Wes) Walker, Rochelle (Joel) Bindle; one great granddaughter: Morgan; and one brother: Benjamin Weina; one sister-in-law: Doris Goeke; nieces and nephews: Cindy Kuik, Peter Weina, Kathy (Pete) Endries, Chris and Keith Schaefer, Ellie (Wayne) Meinnert, Paul (Christine) Weina, Rick (Tiffany) Weina, Joel (Nina) Weina, Sharon (Gary) Green, Karen (Dale) Klein, Sue (Bob) Wolfe, Diane (Guy) Farmwald, Brian Weina, LeeAnn Hewuse, Barbara Gueths, Joan (Brian) Lachman, Helen Hewuse and Lonnie Hewuse. Other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Bernard and Helen Weina; her husband: Ralph Augustine; one brother: Harold Weina; one sister and brother-in-law: Joann and Leroy Hewuse; one sister-in-law: Eleanor Weina; one son-in-law: John Schmidt; one niece: Vicky Hewuse.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, (1114 South 21st Street) Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. William Brunner with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, March 16, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi of Marshall, Manitowoc, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
