Director, Producer. Swedish director of light comedies. He started his career translating silent movie scripts in 1917. In 1929 he was the co-founder of Europafilm, which also gave him a platform for his own productions. Ten years later he co-founded his second film company, the Sandrew-Bauman. He was directing and producing several of the most popular Swedish comedies from the 1930s to the 1950s, working with such actors like Edvard Persson, Fridolf Rhudin and Sickan Carlsson. He also was introducing famed Hollywood-actress Signe Hasso in "Vi två" (1939) and "Vi tre" (1940). In 1940 he directed "Swing it, magistern", starring distiguished jazz singer Alice Babs. His last film was "Mamma tar semester" (1957). He then changed his career for the restaurant business.
