He was born February 27, 1941 at Gallipolis, Ohio, son of Jewell (Waters) Evans, Gallipolis, Ohio and the late Robert “Bob” Evans. He was the former owner/operator of the Last Chance Carry Out, Gallipolis; with his parents, he founded the Jewell Evans Grist Mill, Bidwell and later with his wife founded the Stan Evans Bakery, Columbus, Ohio for more than twenty years. After retirement, Stan enjoyed gardening, yard work, fishing and relaxing on the porch.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Tamara “Tami” (Woodward) Evans and children: Rowdy ,Andy and Chris six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brothers and sisters: Robin , Debbi .Steve and Bobby ; special sister-in-law, Tonya father-in-law, Tom and best friend, Kate as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
were conducted in the Grace United Methodist Church, Gallipolis, Ohio with cremation services to follow per Stan’s request. McCoy - Moore Funeral Home assisting .
