Mrs. John A.Brockey died last Friday at the Lansford Hospital from the effects of chronic ear trouble which recently developed into an abcess of the ear.

Mrs. Brockey came to this locality with her husband in 1906 and has resided on the farm west of town since then. She would have been thirty-three years old on April 9th and was the mother of five children all of whom are living, the oldest being 11 years and the youngest one month. She is survived by her husband and children, four sisters and four brothers, two sisters residing here, being Mrs. F. L. Swiss and Mrs. John Schrupp. Her mother and father survive and they live at Hanley Falls, Minn.

The funeral was held Monday and interment made in the Lansford Cemetery.

Relatives attending the funeral from Minnesota were the deceased's mother, Mrs. E. H. Ellingson, a brother, Allen Ellingson, and Carl Brockey, a brother of the husband.

Mrs. Brockey was beloved by her neighbors and her untimely death is mourned by a large circle of friends.
