Yakima – Chester W. Dyson, died June 1, 1995
He was a precious husband, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many. Chet fought a valiant fight against cancer and heart disease.
He will live on forever in the hearts and memories of those who love him.
Chet leaves Edith, his beloved wife of 61 years, and eight children: June Warehime Brooks, William and his wife Faye Dyson, Lavonne and her husband Robert Terrel, Richard dyson, Donna and her husband William Rogers, Frederick and is wife Suez Dyson, Inez and her husband Ken McAllister, John and his wife Leah Dyson; 21 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was born in Rochester, Wa., son of Jack and Eva (Napier) Dyson. He retired as Ordinance Officer at the Yakima Firing Center.
Chet was very civic minded, he served as the fire commissioner, in the National Guard, as a scoutmaster and as the republican caucus chairman. He also served in many bodies of the Masonic Lodge and was very dedicated to the Lodge and their needs, being a member of Compass Lodge #306 Tenino Lodge #86 and the Masada Shrine Temple.
Chet enjoyed many hobbies, his first love being his ranch in Moxee. He was an avid Sportsman realizing his great dream of hunting moose in Canada.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 5 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shaw and Sons.
