She leaves behind her son Patrick (Patrice) Cornwell, daughter Ellen Beeman (John and Reilly), sister Willow Liebenow, grandchildren; Matthew, Anne, Erin and Mason, great grandchildren; Benjamin and Anna, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Alice grew up in the Leonard and Oxford, Michigan area and graduated from Oxford High School in 1951. She later got a job working for Chrysler, where she took pride in her 36 years of employment there. Alice loved reading her bible and was very active with her church. She was the President of the auxillary club at church, Vice President of the Women's Civic League of St. Clair Shores and was a member of the Masonic Eastern Star's. Alice enjoyed working with inner city children and helped to run and cook for the kids club at Faith Lutheran in Detroit. More than anything, she just loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was considered a Saint by many who knew her and will be greatly missed.
