Dorothy was the oldest of two children. After graduating from Brighton High School in 1948, she attended Barnes Business School, then worked for Roscoe Johnson as a secretary. She and Oscar married in June, 1950 in Brighton; they raised two daughters and two sons. Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother and was extremely protective of her children and family. In later years, she enjoyed painting and crocheting. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Preceding were both parents, brother Paul, and son Rick. Survivors beside Oscar included: children Debra Hansen of Bountiful, UT, Cindy (Steve) Wilford, Blackfoot, ID and Andy Lee, Brighton; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. Funeral services held March 27 at the LDS Church, 1454 Myrtle St., Brighton. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled arrangements.
