Services for Lida Terney, 86, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. today in Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Melvin Swoyer of Shepherd King Lutheran Church officiating.
Entombment will be at 3:45 p.m. PST Friday in Rose Hill Mausoleum in Whittier, Calif., under direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
Mrs. Terney died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 1995, in University Medical Center.
She was born March 17, 1908, in Pittsburgh, Pa. She married Albert Louis Terney Aug. 11, 1925, in Wellsburg, W. Va. He died Oct. 11, 1957. She moved to Lubbock from California in 1988 and was a member of Shepherd King Lutheran Church.
She retired from the Montebello School District in California in 1973.
Survivors include three daughters, Alberto (sic) Revelle and Esther Warren, both of Lubbock, and Beverly Grant of Lawndale, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Shepherd King Lutheran Church.
