Zelda C. Molzer, 98, of Beatrice formerly of Plymouth died Wednesday morning, April 1, 2015. She was born on June 15, 1916 at rural Clatonia and attended District #82 through the 8th grade.

She married Frank Molzer on June 16, 1935 at St. John's Lutheran Church at Kramer and they farmed in Lancaster and Saline counties. They moved into Plymouth in 1987 and went into beekeeping as a business and a hobby.

She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Plymouth where she attended Ladies Aid and sang in the church choir. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crocheting, sewing, quilting, gardening, fishing and music. She lived at Samaritan Springs in Beatrice for six years before moving to Good Samaritan.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Molzer and wife Charlotte of Papillion and Melvin Molzer and wife Barb of Cary, IL; four grandchildren, Kari Jo Johnson and husband Kevin of Omaha, Keith Molzer and wife Molly of Lenexa, KS, Julie Ling and husband Dan of Loves Park, IL and Mark Molzer and wife Amy of St. Augustine, FL; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Luella Molzer of Holdrege; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Olive Schell Krauter; her husband Frank, who died on August 12, 1993; two brothers, Grant Krauter and wife Hannah and Arthur Krauter, Jr. who died in infancy; four sisters, Goldie Yost and husband Al, Pearl Hoffman and husband Elmer, Verna Brakhage and husband George and Irene Krauter; three brothers-in-law, Emil Molzer and wife Roberta, Clarence Molzer and wife Dorothy and Edward Molzer; one sister-in-law, Lydia Pomajzl and husband Arnold.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Plymouth with Pastor Frederic Berger and Pastor Joel Frank officiating.

Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery of Lincoln at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday.

A family prayer service will be held at 10:00 A.M. at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church or a family designation with the church elders in charge. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice from 12:00 noon Thursday until 9:00 P.M. Friday and at the church one hour preceding the services on Saturday . The family will meet and greet friends and relatives on Friday evening from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice.
