JOSEPH ACKERMANN

Joseph Ackermann, 86, resident of St. Mary Home, Manitowoc, the past year, died Sunday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he was a patient 16 days.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. d. L. Krembs will offiicate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Ackermann was born Oct. 31, 1879, in the Town of Newton, son of the late Paul and Bertha Bauer Ackermann. A resident of Manitowoc County all his life, Mr. Ackermann was a charter member of St. Andrew parish. He married Matilda Hertel Feb. 16, 1905. She died June 17, 1920. He owned and operated a farm on Rt. 3, Manitowoc, before retiring.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Edgar (Hildegarde) Rohrbach, of Manitowoc, a sister, Mrs Lillian Holschback, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the funeral home where at 7 o'clock this Monday evening the Rosary will be recited.
