George Adelman(sic), 67, potato grower of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, died early Tuesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. Thursday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, followed by a requiem high Mass at 9:30 a. m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Celebrants will be the Revs. Henry Letz, Allan Walt and Finton Holzknecht. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Adelman was born March 27, 1886, in the town of Liberty where he resided, until 1906 when he moved to the town of Manitowoc to make his home with a brother, Joseph, living there until 1911 when he married the former Agatha Wagner. The couple operated a farm at Rt. 3, Manitowoc, and the farmer specialized in growing potatoes.
He was a member of St. Andrew parish Holy Name Society and the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Edward Miller, and a son, Alvin, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc; two brothers, Louis of Rt. 1, Kiel, and Leo of Rt. 3, Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Wollersheim of Valders, Mrs. ???? ???enberg ????? Elkhart ??? and
??? ??? Eigenberger of Sheboygan and ??? grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p. m. Wednesday. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p. m. Wednesday by the Holy Name Society and the Catholic Order of Foresters.
